Due to its central geographical position, situated between the Adriatic Sea and the Monti della Laga, Offida is the ideal starting point for day trips and to visit the main historic towns of the Piceno and central Italy.

The landscape is dominated by rolling hills dotted with small villages of medieval origin.

The hilly landscape appears like a mosaic of cultivated lands where medieval towns and villages are all around, with deep traditions and important history:  above all Ascoli Piceno and its beautiful travertine (a white marble) piazza.

The hills, which gently slope from the Apennines to the sea, are the areas most happy for the flourishing of the culture of the vine and the production of excellent grapes essence extremely sweet and fragrant, essential to produce wines of excellent quality.

Offida is the seat of several Cellars for wine production and of The Marche regional enoteca. Offida belongs to an area of important DOC-wine production.

Offida is 20 kilometers and 20 minutes away from the Adriatic Sea, from San Benedetto del Tronto, Cupramarittima and Grottammare. Each of these seaside towns has long seafronts and wide promenades lined with hundreds of palm trees.
