The Apartment

The apartment and its large terrace is located right in the heart of Offida, behind the Town Hall and the Theatre Serpente Aureo with its unique terrace overlooking the rooftops of Offida.

The steeples of the six churches in the historic town and the breathtaking view of the wonderful Marche countryside which leads up to the Sibillini Mountains.

It's a small, well-finished apartment with breath-taking terrace overlooking the six towers of the churches of the old town and the nice view of the Marche countryside.

The breath-taking terrace is the true marvel of the apartment: here you can soak up the sun in complete privacy and have breakfast watching Santa Maria della Rocca or dinner at sunset, while the first lights of the Piazza del Popolo turn on.

Your gaze is lost to the Sibillini Mountains, to the gentle hills covered with rows of vines and olive trees, which change colour and light in the different seasons and at different times of day.

The apartment is the welcome retreat from where to start in the morning to visit many places of historical interest and of natural beauty and where to come back in the evening to relax by walking along the streets of the historic center to discover the monuments that bear witness the ancient history of Offida. The medieval alleys hide surprising glimpses, craft shops and typical restaurants where you can experience the variety of regional dishes.

The Village

Offida is one of the 22 "Most beautiful villages in Italy" in the Marche: churches, monuments, museums, great views, great food and wine culture, traditional skills and crafts are all the witnesses of an ancient historical heritage, stemming from the ninth century.

If elsewhere tourism has become an industry, here it still has a "crafted" character.

The medieval alleys hide surprising views, craft shops, trattorias and restaurants where you can taste the variety of typical local dishes.

The manufacturing of the bobbin lace is of very ancient origin; even today, in summer, women work in the street, outside the door of the house to find refreshment and chat with others while the threads are intertwined.

Offida boasts a great wealth of gastronomic tradition linked to seasonality and the territory. Ascolana olives, vincisgrassi, chichiripieno will make you get up from the table reconciled with the world.

You will be spoiled for choice: you can range from the simplicity of the more informal pizzeria to the elegance of the table in the titled restaurant.

The Convent of San Francesco houses the Regional Enoteca delle Marche which collects the wines produced in the Marche region; here you can enjoy the best production of Marche wines inside the ancient premises or on the panoramic terrace. There are 35 wineries in the Piceno area, 3 DOCGs (Offida Passerina, Offida Pecorino and Offida Rosso) and 5 Docs. Passerina is a fragrant, simple, very pleasant, floral and fruity wine.
